Microsoft currently offers its software products to educational institutions at discounted prices through volume licensing. Microsoft requires an agreement with an organization such as NE ESU Cooperative Purchasing in order for the schools to qualify for these discounted prices.
Since 2002, NE ESU Cooperative Purchasing has held a volume license agreement with Microsoft/Software Plus in order to make these products available to our member districts and ESU"s at 'education discount' prices.
Microsoft is now expanding the eligibility of this agreement to the individual students, faculty, and staff members of all ESU member districts, and ESU"s across the state.
