Celebrate Your Summer Reading!

McAndrew Elementary School has a great bulletin board idea for next year and all of the elementary students can help!
We all know how important it is to continue reading over the summer. When school resumes in August we’d like to create a bulletin board of pictures and stories of students reading.
We’d like you to take pictures of yourself reading somewhere (anywhere) over the summer and to write a few sentences about your summer reading. Tell us things like:
What book(s) did you read this summer?
What did you like best about the book(s)?
Who is your favorite author?
Where did you read this summer?
(maybe on vacation or in a boat, on a mountain or in your bedroom, at your grandma’s house or in the park…..….take your photo and show us!)
Bring your photos and stories to school in August. Not only will we make a bulletin board using your contributions, BUT also we will enter your name into a drawing for prizes and games!
