Cookies!
January 20 is Inauguration Day. The 8th grade social studies students learned about the presidential inauguration on this day. They also enjoyed eating chocolate chip cookies as a culminating activity for the cookie election activity we did in November. We also provided chocolate chip cookies to Mr. K's classes since they helped us with the election by serving as our electoral college. Chocolate Chip was the cookie that received the most votes so he is the cookie president this year. His Vice President is Animal Cracker cookie.
We also delivered plates of chocolate chip cookies and cards to the Veteran's Service Office for our Adopted Veterans.
