Ainsworth Music Students to Attend Chadron High Plains Music Festival

The Chadron State College High Plains Band and Choir Festival will be held this year January 31st through Feb. 2nd. Tessa Jacobsen, Flute, was selected First Chair of the Honor Band. Eleven Ainsworth High School Choir students were selected to participate. TyLinn Dodd, Savannah Clapper, Emma Goodloe, Megan Maxwell, Rhe’Ann McBride, and Ciara Philben were selected for the Women’s Choir. Devron Crawford, Vance Heyer, Lars Johnson, Kayla Klammer, and Ashton Wiebesiek were selected to participate in the Honor Choir.

Ainsworth High School Choral Director, Sarah Hotchkiss, states, “Choirs of this type are a great opportunity for my students. They get a wonderful chance to perform music with some of the best choral students in the state, and they get to work with talented guest directors. I am very proud of each and every one of them.”
