Nebraska Young Artists Named

Ethan Johnson, a junior at Ainsworth High School, has been chosen to receive the Nebraska Young Artist Award presented by the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.  

Students are selected to receive this award based on the quality of their art.  Earlier this year Ethan entered a self-portrait in the Nebraska Young Artists competition.  Ethan and his family will traveling to Lincoln on March 29th for a day full of activities culminating in an awards ceremony that evening.  Ethan will have the opportunity to visit with UNL students and get information about what a career in the arts could be like.
