Global DI Results

On Tuesday, May 25th the Destination ImagiNation team from Ainsworth High School arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee for Global Finals competition.  Team members Nathan Bauer, Jamie Davis, Ashley Fling, Alan Hurless, and Lars Johnson earned the right to compete at this level after placing 2nd at the Nebraska DI Affiliate Finals in April.  On Thursday the team competed in their Instant Challenge portion of the competition and on Friday performed their central challenge.  Overall the team placed 31st out of the 60 top improv teams from all over the world.  During Global Finals the team was able to trade pins with thousands of other DI contestants, attend concerts and dances, observe and complete unique challenges, meet people from around the world, and participate in a variety of other activities.  Team Manager Rachel Baack and parent sponsor Sally Davis accompanied this DI team to Knoxville.
