Operation PASS II Underway

Plans are underway for Operation PASS (Preparing All Students for Success) II. Operation PASS II will be held on Tuesday, August 17th. All students must be accompanied by at least one parent. Freshmen and new students will report to the Learning Center for a brief orientation at 6:00 p.m. Upperclassmen will report to the gym to start the paperwork process between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. For the upperclassmen, staff will be available starting at 6:00 p.m. to complete the necessary paper work ahead of time so you won't need to stand in line after the presentation. During this evening starting at 7:15 p.m. there will be information regarding internet safety, basic laptop use and care, insurance requirements and school rules. We anticipate the evening will be concluded by 8:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend this evening, a DVD will be provided to be viewed in the High School Library during school hours. Student laptops will be kept at school overnight until the student and parent has viewed the DVD. Please call the school to make arrangements if you are unable to attend Tuesday evening the 17th.
The laptops were a great addition to the learning process last year! We are looking for another successful year with the laptops. Don’t be late Tuesday evening for the “kickoff”!
