PowerSchool Parental Single Sign On

...One password for all students

    This year our portal for parents to sign in has changed to the Single Sign On ONLY. If you previously used different logins for each of your students, you will need to set up this type of account to use. 

    This will allow parents/guardians with more than one child to access all of their children at one time with one login and password. You will still be able to securely view your child's up to the minute student attendance, grades, detailed assignment descriptions, school bulletins, and even personal messages from the teacher. 

     This Single Sign On allows a personalized account for each parent and guardian. **Each parent will need a unique email address.

     Please continue to go to ainsworth.powerschool.com/ or click on "Quicklinks" on the left side of the school's web page and click on "PowerSchool" to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

 Students:

     You will continue to use your assigned login and password to access your account. Your login and password was printed on your schedule. If you need this information again, please see Danielle, Kelli or Lori. Parents: Do not use your students account information to set up YOUR account.

 Parents:

     Click on "Create an Account" the first time you login (DO NOT just type in your child's access ID and Access Password on the main screen as it will not work). The portal will ask you to put in your name, email, and your password (you will be able to make up your own user name and password for ease of use as well). Next, complete the "Link Students to your account" section. Add your child(ren)'s access PARENT/Guardian ID and Access Password data. The information printed on their schedule is the STUDENT's information and will not work for this procedure. If you need the PARENT/Guardian Access ID's and passwords, please contact the school.

      Finally, continue adding other children from your family if needed. When completed, press the "Enter" button on the bottom left hand corner of your current page.

Notes: Your Username and Password is unique to your child, please keep these logins confidential so that only you and your child(ren) can access their information. This portal is a great way to discuss school and the classes that your child is taking this year.

     Grades are posted to the Parent Portal by the teachers. The teacher's grade book is a "snapshot" and does not always accurately reflect the student's overall progress or performance. Grades can have different values in weighting and will vary by particular courses. Please remember that all assignments will be put up as soon as possible by all teachers but some projects will take longer to assess and post depending on their size. If you have questions regarding an assignment, you can always email the teacher.

      Please go to the icon called Email Notifications and set up any reports you would like to receive from the parent portal. If you previously had this set up with each student's sign on, you will need to set this up again for your SINGLE Sign On account. The preferences for each student can be customized in the "Email Notifications" area. You do not have to use this, but it's a great way to have information sent to you on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis.
