The value of pi to 5 decimal places is 3.14159.
The Greek letter pi was first used to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter in 1709 by mathematician William Jones.
In celebration of "pi" day, a mathematical holiday, Dominic Henry, an Ainsworth Middle School 6th grade student, and his mom, Karen Prewitt, a math teacher at Rock County High School, made mini pies for each of the students in section 6B to enjoy!
