Monday, February 27th was a busy day for Ainsworth High School students! The six members of the Ainsworth High School speech team who were not competing at the District CDE competition in Norfolk traveled to Cozad to compete in the Southwest Conference Speech competition. It was a tough day of competition for the speakers, but all Ainsworth speakers earned a superior rating! The lone medalist for the day was Katherine K. with a 6th place finish in Persuasive Speaking! The speech team is looking forward to their presentation night at 7 PM on Monday, March 6th in the AHS commons and the District C2-3 Speech Contest on Wednesday, March 8th in Plainview.
