Kindergarten students are learning that they have the power to choose with the choices they make throughout their day. Their choices affect themselves and others. Students learn about accountability by understanding that they are responsible for what they do. If they make a mistake, they can fix it or make a better choice next time. Lessons have included concepts related to being safe, respectful, and responsible by using kind words, listening, and measuring the size of the problem. Way to go kindergarten: Power to Choose Heroes!
