We are aware of concerns regarding the smell of natural gas in the building this morning. We want to assure everyone that there is no gas leak. The odor is the result of residual fumes being pulled back into the building through the ventilation system. This can occur on very cold mornings when there is little to no wind.
Please be assured that this situation has been actively addressed since 5:30 a.m., and we are working closely with our HVAC provider to resolve the issue.
The safety of our students, staff, and visitors remains our top priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
